My Gran’s support of my biker days 😂 + write what you can today

Hey there,

How is your story going? Reach out and let me know if you need a quick email to nudge you along ❤️

Today I want to share the story of something my Gran sewed for me during my biker days 🏍️

My poor parents, when I was a teenager I had two boyfriends (not at the same time) who owned motorbikes. We would journey literally all over the South Island on those motorbikes. Looking back now I really hope my sons don’t do this to me 🤔

My faithful Gran Joyce though, she rolled with it and whipped me up a neck warmer that I still use to this day. This was typical of her, she loved to sew, and create things, and she was pretty easy going. She would have gone for a spin on one of those bikes, if her old bones allowed her.

Did someone make you something you still own? Or did you inherit something? What’s the story behind that garment? What’s it made of? Why was it made? Who made it? What were they like? What did that person mean to you?

Remember, take your story one step at a time and try to keep things easy. If you’re not sure what to do next, start with the low hanging fruit, or the easiest thing you can do today.

Most importantly, keep writing, one word at a time, it all adds up.

Charlotte x
