This is a very short post for those of you in who live in or near Nelson, New Zealand, to say that my course ‘Write Your Memoir in One Year – Nelson’ is due to start this Saturday, in Nelson City. If you’ve been thinking of joining, now’s the time.
The important info:
What: The Write Your Memoir in One Year Nelson Course guides people to write their memoirs, life stories or histories in 12 months.
Who: Led by memoir writer, teacher and former journalist for the Nelson Mail, Charlotte Squire. Charlotte has supported hundreds of people to write their memoirs and histories, and is currently working on book number 20 for a client.
Where: Nelson City
When: Course starts Saturday May 25, 10am – 3pm, and students meet once a season after that
How: At each meeting Charlotte leads participants through course material, writing sessions, troubleshooting and goal setting. The memoir course is also available 24/7 online. People are also welcome to join a private Facebook group where people from all over New Zealand connect as they write their stories.
Support: Charlotte will be on hand to offer technical and writing support, one-one-one, all year.
