I thought I’d show you a short video about Mike Brown’s new book today. He’s currently in Christchurch excitedly delivering it to his grandkids. How cool is that?
Mike had been working on his book for 20 years off and on until he stumbled upon a free memoir course I was giving at the Motueka library. He was the guy who couldn’t sit still and was brimming with enthusiastic questions throughout the whole session.
Fast forward a year or so and he was a surprise guest at the first session of a year-long memoir course I hosted in the same library last Saturday. He dropped by, raved about the process of finishing his story, sold a few, then danced back out the door. We all felt inspired by his excitement.
