Writing your story can be overwhelming and confusing. Where to start? What to include?
I can teach you everything you need to know to help you take your story from idea to the first, polished draft of your story.
We can do this within a safe, friendly group in your community – either in person or online.
There are three stages of writing a book – writing, editing and design. My online course Write Your Memoir will take you all the way through the writing stage, teaching you everything you need to know; and prepare you for the editing and design stages.
How it works
- We will meet once a season, for one year, to learn, connect, set goals and make progress.
- You’ll have unlimited access to my course Write Your Memoir.
- You’ll be invited (optional) to join our private Facebook group – to support you in between our seasonal workshops.
- I’ll be on hand to support you one-on-one (by phone or in person, depending on where you are) if needed too.
Our seasonal workshops
If you’d like to meet in person once a season, and you live within 50 kms of me (in Tākaka), you’ll need a minimum of 10 people, plus somewhere we could gather.
If you live further away, the same applies (plus travel costs) – depending on my availability.
If your group is online you’ll need a minimum of five people, plus somewhere your group could gather.
Can you write your story in one year?
Yes, some have. And if you can – fantastic! Though you can’t, no problem. You’ll still be able to access the course material online after the year ends (for as long as the course exists), plus have my ongoing support. And either way – you’ll probably make more progress then you would have alone!
