Why I think artists should share baby, share!

Note to artists and creative folk: Please boldly share your creations with the world!

Meet Golden Bay artist Larissa Dunn. She is a highly creative soul, selling her wares online and from Detour Gallery. She makes pencil cases out of upcycled materials, map dresses, and whale paintings to name but a few.

Over the past week I’ve been telling her to use social media to share, share, share her craft. Cause WE NEED TO SEE IT!

Instagram is a great platform for visual products and Facebook is a great place to share the stories that make her work so special.

And besides – HOW ELSE WILL WE KNOW IT’S THERE?

It’s good to keep your sharing consistent if you can, and to totally share your work when you feel inspired! How else will we realise you have just what we need?
